Well 2020 was quite the year.

Whilst lots has happened, both bad and good, one thing that stood out for us was of course… well, us.

We’re officially a year old and we’d like to take a minute first to thank all our wonderful volunteer team, the amazing contributors and artists who’ve helped bring this magazine to life and of course to YOU. You wonderful Unicorns you.

We started Unicorn Magazine with a simple idea: change the way queer publications represent the LGBTQIA+ community. Not let bi stories be token during September and Bi-Visibility Day – but let bi stories be front and centre of every issue.

Well, 6 Issues later we’ve profiled some bloomin’ amazing bis and expanded our publishing to so many amazing people, sexualities, identities, and stories. We hope you saw a bit of yourself in the magazine, we tried to make it a reflection of the community.

Introducing Issue 6 of Unicorn Magazine. The theme for this issue is CYBER. What is cyber we hear you cry? Well picture this, cyber sex, cyber communities, cyber art and all things online, digital and social media.

Heck knows we’ve all been spending more time at home and online, so why not showcase some of the amazing talent, people, communities and projects that have come from this wonderful digital world.

We’re very happy to introduce you to Lily Rose, our Issue 6 cover star. Lily Rose represents the best of where the world of cyber has headed – genuine virtual community building. These TikTok kids didn’t have nightmares about their crush rejecting them on MSN Messenger like when we were younger. But they are innovating how we define our digital presence.

Lily Rose’s cover article is a great read. Go check it out!

We’re buzzing to share this issue. As ever it wouldn’t be anything without the amazing people we’re featuring, so a big <3 button like to you all.

Whether you’re nostalgic of the MSN chat room days or excessively scrolling through your For You Page on TikTok, this issue is for you. We’ve covered all bases so you can sit back, relax and get scrolling.

With love,
